Williams-Mystic
Williams-Mystic is the coastal and ocean studies campus of Williams College. Williams-Mystic welcomes students of all majors and cultivates an open-minded, interdisciplinary academic community; students learn not just in the classroom but through research and fieldwork at Mystic Seaport, along the coasts of America, and on the ocean. Each semester, an average of 22 students from Williams and around the world work alongside five faculty members to investigate the history, policy, literature, and science of our coasts and oceans. Admitted students also live cooperatively in Mystic, Connecticut, work and learn at Mystic Seaport (the largest maritime museum in the United States), and travel the nation's coasts and oceans. Extended summer research opportunities are also available.
